Fantastic finale.

I agree that the show got a little bloated/repetitive the last couple episodes, but IMO they were still better than almost everything else on TV.

Followed, then, by a great ending with some awesome action and a nice little twist/reveal, setting the stage for what looks to be an even more interesting season two.

Definitely looking forward to it.

I've been critical of the show but that was a great episode, setting aside the fact that somehow Owen became magically in charge in that room. But lots of drama, suspense, and a nice set up for next year. In the end Martian finally had to make his Faustian bargain, about 6 episodes late but better late than never.

Maybe it is me, but I couldn't care less about the love interest in this show. She told him no, turned him into her government, and now she's in trouble. She should have kept her mouth shut. He is supposed to be a supper agent and knows that falling in love will have terrible consequences for the girlfriend, but yet he pursues her like a teenager in heat.

I enjoyed the other aspects of the show much better, such as the inner workings in the embassy, the search for Coyote and the girl trying to get into Iran.
