I am shocked people will give their time and money to see that band play their one hit.

Are they worth revisiting? I never really liked them growing up but I'd like to think I'm more open-minded than I was at age 13.

Albums are still worth listening to, also really liked the two singles from his other band back then (Pets and Tahitian Moon). IMO, Stop is one of the best opening tracks ever. Absolutely dude has issues and has always been off-putting.

Three Days is an In My Time of Dying, Zeppelin-like epic.
Not necessarily an unbiased source, but Perrys wife said the confrontation was because Perry has been complaining the band has been playing too loud and Perrys voice couldn't be heard. At this show the front row was complaining they couldn't hear him so that set off the on stage confrontation. Bassist roughed up Perry afterwards and Perry ended up crying.
So in summary , weird artists are weird.

That excuse doesn't really check out. Doesn't Perry wear in ear monitors? If not, I'd be surprised.
What Perry hears is not the issue. The people in the front row were saying they couldn't hear the vocals.
If the guitar and bass are coming out of speaker cabinets on stage and then mic'd or DI'd into the board and also coming out of the mains, instead of just going DI to the mains like more bands are doing today, it's possible the people near the stage aren't hearing much vocal.
The vocals will come only from the mains and those are often hanging over the front edge of the stage or even a little past.
Being front row is not always good.

I get that but if he's wearing in ears how the **** would he know the band is too loud and the fans up front can't hear him? And like you said, it's not uncommon for the sound up close to suck.

I understand they had to do what they needed to do, but another thing about all this nonsense is this is Perry's band, and to have to be forcibly taken off the stage has to be an all time low for him.
