Attended one last night in Raleigh, NC. Absolutely loved it. Went with my 17 yr old son who loves Hans and that type of music and scores in movies as much as I do (rare to find that). So was extra special and he was over the moon with it as well. Had a small strategic orchestra, band, some vocalists, and himself performed for over 3 hrs with music from Dune I and II, Man of Steele, Dark Knight, Gladiator, Last Samurai, Interstellar, Pirates, and more. He ended the encore with No Time to Die and the whole show with him doing the piano to Time, the ending piece of Inception and the top (which was spinning on the video screen). Unreal.
Minus a few pieces/moments, he had more concert like renditions (guitar, etc) and "rocked" it up more, which was awesome but still true to his work (and only tweaked here and there in others). The Time piece seemed exactly like the original. Im not 100% sure on this, but I believe the vocalists were the originals from the movie recordings (Dune and Gladiator--he specifically talked about her and she was definitely older now-will have to look up). Talent from all performers were off the chart. Interstellar was mentioned by him as one of his favorites and same with the movie-and that performance was amazing as they choreographed the arena with lights like you were in space/galaxy, the spinning when he was trying to dock the ship, and then the "library" scene at the end. Really immersive.
Anyways, sorry for the long post, but for anyone who is fan thought they might like. And gave up my stars so can't post any pics .
