Nightbitch is Marielle Heller’s best film. Despite the silly and bizarre concept, the film has so much to say about marriage, motherhood & parenthood. There is no way this is actually good. I like weird movies but this sounds somehow preachy and esoterically stupid at the same time.

I know this is all sarcasm.

But I absolutely forgot about The Shaggy Dog, which I had to have seen like 10 times while my parents let the VCR babysit us before the internet existed, and man, I'm probably going to have more weird nightmares tonight than I did when I saw this trash trailer.

It was a rude surprise when she found out what "slaying some **ssy" actually meant in the script.
