Who do you think is the most successful actor since their stint on the Office? Any version of the show. I think Martin Freeman, Steve Carell, or John Kransinski are your front runners, but I think an argument could be made for any of them.

I'm sure he makes a ton, and personally I like him. I liked both Extras and Life is Short but , he basically just plays Ricky Gervais in all his roles. So I don't think you can call him as successful as an actor compared to what the other people have been. That being said the Liam Neeson scene in life is short is one of the funniest scenes of all time in my opinion.
Gervais has a net worth that is roughly the total of the entire cast combined. I wish people would be sick of me like that.

By the way, on Gervais, Derek and After Life are 2 great series that he created and starred in. Way undervalued in the US. And of course hosting the Golden Globes 3 or 4 times, his standup specials, his cameos in a number of big movies etc.

He hosted the Golden Globes at least five times and his 2020 monologue at the Globes is legendary.

If the question is most successful, I think Warren Buffet wins. He had a cameo as a candidate for Michael's job.
