Stupid. Just like a second season of Shogun - unnecessary and almost gauranteed to dip in quality from what we've come to expect.

Hollywood - when they're not cancelling good shows before they've been able to establish themselves they're running them into the ground.

I'm not excited about it but if anyone can pull this off...
If you say you hate the state of politics in this nation and you don't get involved in it, you obviously don't hate the state of politics in this nation.

Looks like Jamie Tartt is unlikely.

That will be a shame. His character arc was one of my favorites all time.

It was great, but Season 3 was already showing signs of it getting stale.

Season 3 started to show a decline in quality, and everything was tied up well so I don't really see the need for a season 4

Season 3 ended well, but overall, the season was just ok. It also started to dip too much into politics, which didn't really sit well with me. Season 1 is one of my favorite seasons of tv of all time.

If they want to continue the series, they should do it without Sudeikis and Lasso. Bringing that character back would undermine season three. Just call it AFC Richmond or something.

Not bringing Jamie back, and having at least a few smatterings of Ted/Beard, would be a huge disservice.

Jamie and Roy's relationship was by far the star aspect of the series from mid season 2 until the end, even more so than Ted.

Whatever actor doesn't sign a new contract, their character is now dead, and the characters of Ted Lasso are reunited at a Scottish chateau for the funeral. But is one of them the murderer? Follow Ted Lasso and Coach Beard in a fish-out-of-water story as they become amateur detectives in season 4 of Ted Lasso.
Thanks and gig'em

First, ML3 is an Oscar worthy movie and Scott Bakula is a natural treasure.

Now that being said... I can see a 4th season. The overall focus on Rebecca overcoming the lost of her husband. (Who died in a plane crash) and Ted returning to coach the U21 w/ his son moving forward in life.

Concept:
The season fast forward four years, in that time. Ted son is older and looking to continue playing at the 16 and 18 yr old level. Ted has to see him off. He never remarried his ex-wife but he has not moved on with his life. Higgins asks Ted to return to help train the U21 group.

Rebecca husband died in a plane crash. She is crush and trying to raise her stepdaughter. She is a wreck and having a hard time dealing w/ the lost so Higgins, Beard and Kelley realize that they need help from Ted. They bring him over to help w/ the U21 but in reality they are hoping that Ted spirit will rub off on Rebecca.

Roy is now the head coach w/ Nate and Beard assisting him. Roy should be happy but he is not because .. he is Roy. Roy is also worried that Ted is coming to replace him. Since Ted left, they have been stuck in the middle. They lost Jaimie due to money and a few of the players and the team is no longer the team that Roy played with.. they are strangers to him. The team over time has moved on.

Keeley company has excelled but she never settled down. She is worried about Rebecca and works w/ Higgin to get Ted back. She is also avoiding Roy as she has a relationship that he would not approve.

Higgins - well he is Higgins.

Yes I still think Ted and Rebecca is the end game.. with both finding happiness and her enjoying his biscuits.

This is AppleTV.

They need a season 4 to insert more woke story lines and homosexual players and team owners. I assume the entire team will boycott their own fans bc they are not accepting enough of illegal immigration deciding at one point during the season to go skip a big match vs Manchester U instead choosing to go burn down Royal Albert Hall and tear down statues of Captain James Cook, Oliver Cromwell, and Winston Churchill bc they were colonizers and white supremist.

Should be a real hoot.

I suggest taking a deep breath, stepping away from the internet, and going outside for a long walk in the woods. You'll see things aren't so terrible as you think they are.

You should definitely do that.

When we finished watching Lasso we searched for a series that was similar, the online suggestion was "Shrinking" produced by the same people that did TL. If you havent seen it you should grab some popcorn and watch some episodes. I think you'll love it.
