First, let me thank those of you who have supported us through the years. We've made a lot of good friends playing hard core gangsta music all over Texas.

Who could forget Black Beach Week at the Victorian Condo in Galveston?

How about Kappa Beach Party for the last 3 years before that?

The Galveston Balla Fan Cruise on Carnival has been a success each year.

Important step shows...

Beauty contests...

We will never forget the support of the texags community. We thank you for your support, your love, and perhaps most importantly your support.

We thank you for your money.

The Balla Foundation has helped many needy children over the years, and I could not have done it without each of you. But then again, you wouldn't have done any of that without me either. We should really probably thank each other. We made a good, no, make that a GREAT team.

Now for the hard part.

Bug Spray and I have decided that it might be time to go another direction with things musically.

We have disolved our partnership with TruGangsta Productions and are going independent instead. Along with this change in label and management will come a significant change in style as well.

We expect to debut our new direction at next years SXSW industry show in Austin, but I felt it important to announce things in advance here on texags first. You deserve to be the first to know.

The official announcement won't come until sometime next month, but I wanted to put a stop to all of the rumors before they have a chance to begin. You might hear some crazy things in the coming weeks. Many of them may or may not be true.

So there you have it.

Things are about to change drastically but we are confident about the future, our musical direction, and also the future.

Much love to all of you.

Peace.

I just found an old cassette of some of your sample tracks with WonTon Creole. Your filthy lyrics were ahead of their time. I only wish I could find that video I had of you batlling Papaya McGee. #Respect #PinktoeMichelleCrow

I always liked these one-off, white-boy rappers who always seem to be around pimping mix-tapes in the 90s or "droppin' tracks" in the 2000s. There was an Aggie back in '92-'94ish who was the Marshal Mathers wannabe around campus. What was his name?

Some consider that the beginning of the end when Bug Spray got the royal flush! Alas, BJB, aka the "Ace in the Deck" as we called him in Mineola, is definitely missed.
