Watched the first couple episodes last night and enjoyed it. 2 things I really liked:

1) The use of a narrator works really well for me in this alt-history fictional comedy. The narrator's snarkiness just works for me here.
2) The use of modern music also fits this comedy style. The use of Tainted Love during the bedroom scene in the 2nd episode was well done....and prescient.

Also, the first episode's opening scene use of the vagina cam was wtf lol funny. After seeing episode 2 I hazard to guess they might have something in mind with even more shock value later in the season. At least the potential is there...

Only negative (woke comment incoming) - why do we get to see a guy's ass but none of the women's?!? The scene was right there perfect for it and they didn't do it.

I'm gonna try and binge watch the rest this weekend.

Wouldn't go that far - I'd say its almost a spoof of Bidgerton, but not really. Its more its own thing than not. Some things in common - historical-ish, nice costumes, more of a young adult feel to a lot of characters, and a penchant for using historically inaccurate racial casting (not really a big deal in a historically fictional comedy IMO).

Opened hoping this was about the female GI Joe character. Then I remembered she was Lady Jaye. Now I'm sad.

Finished it last night and thought the episodes were pretty consistent in quality. Really enjoyed the whole season and hope they make more. It probably won't make anybody's top 10 list but the acting and writing was good even if the plot was somewhat predictable. Still think the music and narrator were great.

Edit to add: I'm not sure who had more swear words - the narrator or Biden during the debate. lol

It was fun. Told from female perspective that's why the male backside and not the female.

Well, that sucks, this was actually a really good show that my wife and I both liked. That's the problem with modern day streaming. If a show is not an instant hit immediately on the first episode, they cancel it. They don't bother seeing if it can pick up steam over a couple of seasons.

That's fine. They can go ahead and make a third season of craptastic Rings of Power. I barely made it through season one of that show. I certainly won't be watching season two.
