So this is an Adam Sandler movie?

Ron White as Buford T. Justice.

Several posters touched on it, but one of the most obvious plays is to have bandit (and likely snowman) played by actresses, and "Frog" played by a hot male actor.

However execs would have to know that they wouldn't be able to cash in on the nostalgia crowd to nearly the same extent if they did that. Tough call if they reboot which way they'd go, which is pretty funny.

I could see Lainey Wilson as a truck driver.

Glenn Powell or Ryan Gosling would be much better.

Jake Gyllenhaal in there somewhere, the Roadhouse remake was surprisingly not awful, even funny at times. The script could have used some work, but it wasn't terrible.
