I am curious if his first single Houdini is a preview of what the new album will be, or just a one off. It has my attention though. I really hope we get Shady back in some form.

Man that was good. He's still a fantastic lyricist. I think he should do the Super Bowl halftime show, it would be epic, especially if the Lions are playing in it.

I liked the single. I get the concept. And he's spitting.

But...after an initial listen, this album doesn't seem to have much replay value for me.

If you hate cancel culture then this album is quite enjoyable. I got my my first car CD player the week the Slim Shady album released. I love hearing that version again.

That song was supposed to be on Encore, but Reeve died so he cut it. Then he made it fit on this album.

And I know that Chris Reeves song was recorded in 2004 for Encore (Yeah)

Labi Siffre - I Got The…

The familiar tune kicks in about halfway through when the song morphs into a completely different (and familiar) melody. The first half is awesome too though and makes the transition at midpoint hit harder.

I think Fuel is my favorite. JID and Eminem are both so good in it.

Guilty Conscience 2 is also pretty amazing. Cool to see the dynamic change from Dre to Eminem in the first one to Eminem to Shady in the second.

I don't know if this album will resonate for non-Stans…

But damn I love it. it's been many years since I've listened to any album start to finish this many times in a weekend. He has had some incredible single tracks in the past 10-15 years, but as a whole album nothing has come close to this in a while.
