To me it also seemed clear that there is still a lot of resentment in both Andrew McCarthy (towards Blum), and in Cryer (towards McCarthy).

I did think it was kinda funny how those two situations were kind of mirroring each other. (McCarthy pushing for an apology from Blum, and Cryer doing the same to him.)

That comment about the three guys on the cover being the "core members" was clearly meant as a jab towards McCarthy that he thinks they're both "Brat Pack adjacent".

I started watching but couldn't get through it; just not engaging to me

I rewatched it, and the more I think about it, the more I'm like, "**** Andrew McCarthy…"

I could make a very reasonable case that Ashton Kutcher is more of a bratpack member than Andrew.

Andrew McCarthy's best movie was Weekend at Bernie's part 2. **** this Holkyweirdo…

I watched 45 minutes or so last night, and a lot of it felt cringy and awkward, esp between the Andrew McCarthy and the actors he talked into participating. Did we really need to see him making phone calls and leaving messages?

I expected it to be a little more professional and include interesting behind-the-scenes stories. Does it get there?

Ha, no.

It could have been interesting in so many ways, so many things to dive into, but its just a Hollywood b-lister hanging onto and squeezing out the last bit of juice of their career…

Anyone that thinks Weekend At Bernie's 2 is better than 1.

You may be the only one, but you seem to prefer a lot of sequels over the original movies that most people would not.

I was saying Andrew's performance was better in part 2, not that part 2 is the superior Weekend at Bernie's…

Started out kinda interesting. I was born in 85 so I didn't know about all this, so the history explaining it was OK.

But to listen to Andrew interview all of these people 35 years later and listen to them whine about it like they were shipped off to war is just pathetic.

Someone wrote an unflattering article about you when you were in your 20s. Get the **** over it already.

If the goal was to prove you weren't spoiled brats by rehashing some stupid bull**** from 30 years ago and acting like it was the darkest time of your entire life, you have failed.
