I've had you on ignore for more than a year but I'm sure you said something in line with your typical 3rd grader mentality posts.

You're name calling other posters and callously dismissing anyone's differing opinions. Sure, I'm the 3rd grader…

Correct, it was good until Mark Hamil's TDS ruined the original trilogy for me.

Didn't you learn your lesson on the other thread? Nobody ****ing cares about your pot-stirring bull*****

Wow, some people just can't handle opinions that are different than their own. I don't think there was any lesson to be learned in the other thread. Just posting my opinions on today's entertainment scene.

Pot meat kettle. You couldn't handle an actor's opinion so much, that you let it ruin a movie.

You went on and on about how there were no white heroes cast in Star wars anymore and were disproved at every turn.

When the first Star Wars was released in the 70s... I saw it about 1 month after its run started.

One watch was enough... all the others after... saw 1 time only.

Now for some reason I had to see Close Encounters of the Third Kind multiple times.

All I will say

I had a cat named Luke. Best pet growing up.

A showsteer named Wicket.

The best though was naming all our show lambs which were southdowns that year the call sign names from top gun.

Seriously, dude, the way you stalk me on this board is straight up disturbing. Is there a single thread I comment in where you're not constantly snipping at me or about me? I guess it's progress that you at least took down your signature last week that literally mentioned me...

If you are a current student at A&M, then you were not even an it h in your daddy's pants when Star Wars came out. You had to be there to understand the impact that movie had on an entire generation of movie-goers and even on how movies are made. The release if The Phantom Menace was likely the most hyped movie ever, but many would state that landed with a splat and the prequels did not live up to expectations. The Force Awakens had similar hype, but if the sequels were your only Star Wars theatrical experience, then it is easy to see why you don't get what made Star Wars the cultural phenomenon it was.

I feel the same way and a lot of people I know my age are the same. But if you go just a bit older and a bit younger, they love Star Wars. It has to be the right age at the right time. I'm a little to young to have seen the originals in theater and a little too old to have loved the prequels or rereleases in theater.

I felt the same way when i realized Greedo had voted for Michael Dukakis back in '88.

Dukakis in the helmet sticking out of the hatch of an M-1 Abrams reminded Greedo of Anakin in his pod racing helmet when they were kids.
