What was the term used in Better Call Saul where they (Jimmy and Kim) discussed someone continuing to go after something, even though they are continuing to lose. The example they used was a gambler that stays at the table, losing money, but won't leave b\c they have so much time invested. Does this sound familiar?

Could also be Gambler's fallacy

Gambler's Fallacy: when an individual erroneously believes that a certain random event is less likely or more likely to happen based on the outcome of a previous event or series of events

Sunk-cost fallacy: whereby a person is reluctant to abandon a strategy or course of action because they have invested heavily in it, even when it is clear that abandonment would be more benefici

Thank you, too!

If it was from Econ, it was 'sunk cost'.

It's a common term in business.

But it was a prequel so it occurred before any of those other references in the timeline. Thus it happened first but we saw it later.

The Poker term is Pot Committed. Not really sure if that's the term they used on BCS though.
