Didn't see a thread on it, but wife and I are really enjoying it. Just watched the third episode tonight. Think thr 5th aired today.

Good cast with Kristen Wigg, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Ricky Martin (!?!)

Yes, we've been watching it. Great cast, enjoying it so far.

I've seen the first two episodes. Kinda slow moving but it's interesting to see the period fashion, cars and furnishings.

I did not recognize Kristen Wiig. She looked pretty attractive for 50... and good lord Ricky Martin. He looks half his damn age. Whatever he's doing... let everyone else know.

We started it last night, just Ep 1 so far. Kinda slow so far but intriguing.

We shall see......

I was a little late to this party but just finished Season 1. Great cast and I am a big fan of anything and everything set in the mid to late 60's / early 70's.

Wiig should get some Emmy love for this, maybe a win. She was a powerhouse in her role.

Allison Janney can play a beeeotch as well as anyone in Hollywood. And Carol Burnett has still got it.

And I just now looked at IMDB and found out that the Shiny Sheet writer is Natalie from Facts of Life. Wow.

Thought it was great. Definitely went a completely different direction from what I thought it was going to be based on the first episode. Hopefully they give it another season.

Agreed. This was Wiig's "Ted Lasso" - she absolutely owned the part.

Carol Burnett was perfect. Who else could they have gotten to play an older person that's villainous - yet you kind of like her - with communication/health issues and have fun with it just enough to not actually mock elderly people? Her.

I was also really impressed with Ricky Martin. His role got better as the series went on.

I hope it gets a 2nd season.

I loved it. They even pulled off the goofy whale episode.
