The Feds got their hands on one of his insiders, apparently.

Federal agents raided Combs's LA mansion on the same day Mr Paul was apprehended at Opa Locka Airport airport in Miami before he could board a private jet.
Mr Paul was recently named in a lawsuit filed by Rodney Jones, a music producer, who alleged that the former basketball player was Combs' "mule" and worked to gather and distribute guns for the rapper.

In the lawsuit, Mr Jones says he "personally witnessed" Mr Paul either transport or try to transport illegal drugs on flights between LA, Miami, Virginia, the Caribbean, and London on three occasions.

Finished the indictment:

RICO, sex trafficking, arson, kidnapping, extortion, obstruction.

They are charging his assistants and some of his business managers with aiding the conspiracy under RICO. They will flip if they haven't already.

Hired sex workers, forced them into wild days-long orgies and drugged them, beat them. Filmed them without their consent and used the films as leverage over them so they wouldn't call the police.

He will appear in court later today. Defense is going to ask for pretrial release. Prosecutors have already filed a significant motion to keep him confined, arguing he's a threat to witnesses and has the funds to flee.

The default in these cases is pretrial confinement.

Yesterday may have been his last day as a free man.

Bail denied. His defense attorneys suggested $50 million for his release. Judge said no.

He will be held until trial.
