I read the prequel comic and a second one that is concurrent to the film last night. The prequel one was so good, and the concurrent one was very entertaining.

And I am 100% certain the movie will come nowhere near either story.

not that it will be bad (it likely will) but more all the missed opportunities due to Legendary Pictures generic , lowest-common-denominator storytelling.

I enjoyed the hell out of the first 3 movies in the MonsterVerse. Godzilla Versus Kong had some good moments but was nothing special overall. This one is about as unappealing as I can imagine, and I say that as a lifelong Godzilla fan who ranked last year's Godzilla Minus One as his favorite movie released in 2023.

Yeah, I won't be seeing Kong x Godzilla in theaters. It looks so bad/pointless. At best I'll catch it on TNT in two or three years.

Just realized I left out the "S" at the end of "MOVIES" in the thread title. Which will now bug me way more than it should.

If you're bored out of your mind, then Spaceman could make you comatose. I kept waiting for ANYTHING to happen.
