Disagree with the take that John Wayne was a bad or "terrible" actor. I will agree that he didn't have much range, but that is because he really didn't have to. He was fantastic at what he did, and who he was supposed to be. He would not have become the icon he did if he had been terrible at acting.
IMO, his best/my favorite acting performance was in "The Cowboys (1972)"

Vin Diesel hands down.

Considering he has an IQ hovering around 60, his success is even more impressive

I don't think I've ever seen a movie that includes Diesel in its cast.

Kevin James
They are the same person in every role.
False.

In "King of Queens," Kevin James delivered packages.

In "Paul Blart," Kevin James worked in mall security.

In "Zookeeper," Kevin James worked at a zoo.

Delivery guy, security, zoo ... all very different. Kevin James clearly has a lot of range.

" I am Groot!"

Just blown away by the passion he put in that role.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Ok, you hurt me with that one. Gordo, Jerry Lee and the Grey Ghost are all awesome acting jobs.

Best performance is The Long Voyage Home.

Wayne himself said he was a "re-actor" rather than an "actor". Still, if you were a young boy in the 50's and 60's he was an absolute hero!

While I liked him, and enjoyed him in some movies, I always thought Bill Paxton was a pretty bad actor. But I think it was largely his natural voice/delivery...maybe out of his control.

Anne Hathaway is another I personally don't get. IMO, over-acts a lot.

Now I'm imagining Leo playing every role as a mentally handicapped teenager and I can't stop giggling, although it would make Kate Winslet a much less sympathetic character in Titanic.

Pauly Shore has had a successful career playing himself/The Weasel persona in pretty much every movie he has ever been in. I don't know if his filmography would be considered a "great" career but he's been active since the '80s and I'm pretty sure there are a couple thousand waiters in Hollywood that would trade places with him in a second.

John Malkovic is a terrible actor. Speaking in the same, dumb, monotone voice doesn't mean you have talent.

Vince Vaughn is bad too, but his movies are fun.

Anne Hathaway is terrible and annoying.
