How do y'all rate Jason Isaacs as an actor?

I feel like he's become a bit typecast as a villain lately, but he's a versatile actor. I still remember his accent in Black Hawk Down being a bit much. I'd say on the border between good and great is right for him.
He was by far the best thing about Star Trek: Discovery.

He played one of the few villains that stirred up a true visceral hate inside of me while watching his performance in The Patriot.

Excited to see him in White Lotus- he could be a great person to hate in that as well.

He's one of the best at villain portrayal out there. Patriot and Harry Potter are the huge ones, but Black Hawk Down was another really good one.

Awake was an awesome show that would have had a fantastic streaming run if it had come out on prime or Netflix five or seven years later instead of being on NBC.
