It would have been interesting if before the first game, they used a random number generator to pick a number from 1 to 456, and whichever number was chosen, that player was eliminated.

I'm on the bridge game episode and I realized I want them to be eliminated. I'm not rooting for any of these people. I do not like any of them. I want to see them gone.
Weird for a game show, there is usually at least one person/team you want to see succeed.

So is this worth watching if we've already seen the MrBeast version of this?
It pissed me off, especially during the dice game when everyone acted like Mai was being ridiculous for nominating Ashley. It's like everyone else had already forgotten about the bridge.n_touch said:
The Ashely thing is still really eating at me. I think it is just a direct reflection of how people today think. They all wanted to be part of a team and she refused and would have gladly let someone else do all the work. When it was her time she did it once and was real quick to pass the baton.
Then to double down like she did with Mai and say "I did my part" was laughable. There is gaslighting and then there is that lol
I'm curious how long the whole contest went on for. I feel like the show doesn't really do a good job conveying that. If they're playing 1 game per day, you're just locked in a room with nothing to do for long periods of time. It's going to start driving people crazy.OldArmy07 said:
It's entertaining, but man oh man are they editing it in a way that makes me wince at the contestants. So many people crying about a game show.
I am thinking the same thing. The fact that no one called her out at any point in time is amazing to me. The guy behind her on the bridge did not even put up a little argument when she turned and told him she did her part and it was his turn to go. It may be the editing, but it seems in her mind she did play as a team.Thisguy1 said:
There has the be some editing to the Ashley story. She straight up said, "I did jump" and Mai didn't bat an eye. My wife and I just looked at each other like wtf, did we miss something? The other contestants not fighting anything and taking her side on it is also super strange.
After she refused to pass Trey and he was eliminated, she moved to the front of the line. When she was at the front, she did make her 1 50/50 choice that (mostly) everybody had agreed to at the beginning. Then she let the person behind her pass to make the next decision. She really only screwed Trey. Didn't seem like anyone was really super close with Trey, and if he's now gone, i guess no one else really cares.Thisguy1 said:

No one is saying she did not. She did not agree to that and was explicit in saying she would not move ahead of anyone. If that is the case then she should not have expected anyone to move in front of her. She made her one choice and the fell back to the team and acted like she was with it all along. With that said, the person behind her should have had the stones to call her out. I find it weird that no one, not one person said anything, it had to be editing. I read somewhere that the red light green light game lasted 8 hours, while the show made it seem like it took maybe 10-20 minutes.
She listed her profession as 'civil rights investigator' in Atlanta, so I'm guessing she's accustomed to receiving credit for doing zero work at all. If you listened, you know, to her, you know, interview, you know, you'd see, you know, she's not that, you know, not that bright.n_touch said:No one is saying she did not. I get it from her stand point that let the person in front of you do all they can and give yourself the best shot at moving forward. I have no problem with that. My problem is with owning it. She is the one that showed up to the last meeting on presentation day and talked about how hard she worked getting it done.
what was that process like?Tobias Funke said:
Haven't watched this yet, but I had several rounds of interviews to be on the show (as well as a physical and psych eval), alerted my company I would need the time off, and had my bags packed. They went a different direction last minute.
