It's a little bit older than Arcane and Castlevania, but I recommend Cowboy Bebop. Great soundtrack!

As far as similar anime goes....besides Cowboy Bebop, Shinichiro Watanabe has another series called Samurai Champloo which is also good and has some similarities to Blue Eye Samurai.

Trying to post this again.

Cowboy Bebop is an anime, versus BES and Arcane being western animated series. I just can't stand anime and much prefer everything about these two shows.

Samurai Champloo was great back in the day. Glad someone brought that up.

The opening scene of Blue Eye Samurai is almost identical to the opening of Samurai Champloo IIRC.

Castlevania is amazing. The first one though, not the one that just came out. It sucks.

Season 1 was very good. Season 2 was a huge letdown. I slogged through it because it had its moments but man it could have been so much better.

Also, another recommendation is Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I'm watching it through the second time because there was stuff I missed the first go through.

Was anyone else disappointed in the ending?
I wanted Mizu to kill Fowler. Just like the tea ceremony, Fowler told him enough. Both their names and where they were. He should have died right then.

Other than that, the show was incredible, especially ep 5, as everyone has said.

Hell yes

Fantastic to see its been renewed, althpugh that's not surprising with all the rave reviews, but even more excited to see they have a plan for it and it won't be some never-ending series that loses its steam (hopefully).

Great news! Would suck if they cancelled after only 1 season. They're terrible about creating a ton of content that goes nowhere. I know they look at a lot of metrics to make the decision, but it makes it difficult to want to invest in a series not knowing if it's going to continue. It could be great, but I might not give it the time of day because it might get cancelled on a cliff hanger.

Yeah a lot of the time lately I basey show choices based on whether it is completed or not. Sucks jumping on a show for it to be cancelled (looking at you 1899).

Binged 1st 7 episodes with a friend about 3 days after it came out.

Amazing.

I wish all tv was this good. But it's not. Most of it sucks.

But BES is great.
