I keep getting pissed when YTTV raises their prices and have tried switching to some other services, but keep going back. We've tried FUBO, Sling, Hulu Live, Philo - but none have the sports options I want, plus channels my wife likes.
Pretty much everyone keeps raising their prices because inflation is not transitory. Pick your poison otherwise.

Not disagreeing with your point in general, but these were significant increases from the original value that got my family to cut the cable in the first place. And increases that were completely unexpected or announced. Not saying I liked it, but at least back in the day you knew you were going to get shafted by the cable company when your initial contract ran out.

Edit: quick google search - YTTV has increased in cost 114% since inception 6 years ago. That's not inflation. I'm sure it has a lot do with value added contracts / programming, but that is enough to make a loan shark blush.

Heads up, FUBO and NBC have reached a deal and your bill is going up. I'll be dropping this service soon. The value just isn't there for me. Especially when you factor in I'm getting less NBC channels than I had before at more cost to me.
