That wasn't a twist. It was just terrible. I think they telegraphed the mother dying pretty well. If they had left the ending with that, it would've been great. Just don't watch the last 5 minutes of the last episode.

Half vampire? What the hell kinda sense does that make?! There is no such thing as a half vampire. That's like those dudes who say they aren't gay because they have relationships with women, and only sex with men. Or maybe a better analogy is being only kinda pregnant. Half vampire?!? Michael begins to undergo a transformation; his eyes become sensitive to sunlight, the smell of food revolts him, and his reflection becomes translucent. He develops a craving for blood and attempts to attack his brother Sam, but is stopped by Sam's dog Nanook. Sam is terrified, but Michael convinces him that he is not yet a vampire and needs his help. Sam deduces that, as Michael has not yet killed, he is a "half-vampire" and his condition is reversible upon the head vampire's death. Sam and the Frog Brothers suspect Max of being the head vampire, but while Max is over at Sam's house for dinner with Lucy, they observe that he has a reflection.

David tries to provoke Michael into killing but Michael repeatedly refuses. Star reveals that she and Laddie, the youngest of the gang, are also still partly human and that David intended for Michael to be Star's first kill, sealing her fate as a vampire.

Technically, that was great.

Emotionally, that was terrible.

The movie AI. I don't know if was supposed to be a twist or exactly what they were going for....but it sucked. There was soo much build up for the most unsatisfying ending of all time. Its my #1 worst movie of all time. The new Flash movie definitely a strong #2, but both are awful.

Not really twist endings... but will nominate the "Oceans" movies where the whole move builds to a massive theft/grift/got-cha and the "how" is left out of the beginning/middle of the movies.... then wa-la, there is a 5 min. montage at the end that explains the impossible.

Annoying.

I happen to love the Oceans movies and this format doesn't bother me one bit. Highly entertaining to me

I watched No Way Out because of the other thread. Good movie, but I thought the twist was horrible. Didn't see it coming, but that didn't make it good. It didn't seem to even fit.

It's like on the last day of filming someone said "Hey, you know what would be really wild?"

Im pretty sure the aliens in Signs were marooned on a hostile planet as punishment. They certainly hadn't studied anything like how doors work or anything either.

Ted with her was a great story. Her dying, and that being the reason for Ted telling the story about meeting her to his kids, was a great ending. The Robin bit at the end was such a disservice to the fans.
