Lots of folks complain there isn't enough entertainment on the Entertainment board, so here's a oldie but goodie to chew on.

I recently started rewatching "LA Law" on Amazon Prime and in my opinion, it's held up well. Wish it were in HD but what can you do?

My memory was that Leland was a wise boss, Douglas was an *** and Grace Van Owen was a babe. I wasn't wrong.

Any thoughts on this show? It ran from 1986 to 1994 and won 15 Emmys.

It was before my time but I remember watching a bit when my parents were watching. I liked Larry Drake.

I produced a faith based film back in 2015 or so with Corbin Bernsen and he was super nice.

Pretty decent show. I remember liking it better than most of the legal type shows that followed. Great cast.

Loved that cool sax riff coming out of the cold open to start the theme song.

I bailed on it when one of the female lawyers came into a room gushing about how things were going to change with the new administration (i.e., the Clinton Administration).

was the "it" show when I was growing up in Austin

not very realistic portrayal of most big firms, but interesting

I think I hated that Michelle Greene character- not attractive at all.

Corbin Bernson was also on a few episodes of Mad Men a few years back but never really had a hit after LA Law.

That is a reminder that mankind peaked in the 1980's and early 90's. That was our high water mark. Just simpler, better times. Plus it was actually safe to live and work in downtown LA. Now it's a dystopian drug and crime infested cesspool.

I've been needing a new/old show to watch at night and totally forgot about this show! Thanks for the reminder. Also yes, when he said that about Corbin the first thought I had was uhhhhh hello…Psych

Was very good in its first 3 seasons or so but then kinda went off the rails a bit when they scaled back in court room/legal storylines in favor of more personal and romantic drama.

NYPD Blue holds up really well. To me, still the best cop show ever made.

In other words, it became more like a real depiction of the practice of law.

Thursday night TV was the best. Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court, and then LA Law. Strongest primetime lineup EVER.

Just saw that Hulu will begin streaming all seasons of "LA Law" in early November, and all episodes have been remastered in high definition and the 16:9 format.

Not sure how someone can think that LA Law Michelle Greene wasn't attractive. Now, her character was kind of annoying, I'll give you that.

Also, she wasn't in Eight is Enough.
