Anyone else watch Warrior on Max?

I saw the ad on Max for it. Is it worth watching?

There is another thread somewhere, but it is a good show.

Give it a few episodes it starts off a little cheesy with the martial arts but it's legit.

Need to start s3, really enjoyed the first two seasons once they got going. The action choreography is awesome.

I finished the first season this weekend and I've enjoyed it so far. Not the best when it comes to plot but the fights are solid and the show itself is really fun. There's an episode in season one that's basically a full on western and it was awesome. I think it's worth watching.

This show is so good! I love the characters. I saw it and watched the first few episodes and was hooked. I'm halfway done with season 3 and want more!!

Well that thread is 2 years old and has roughly the same amount of posters so let's make this the official one.

The acting gets better in the subsequent seasons.

Super underrated series. Acting is mediocre, it can be very cheesy, but it makes up for that with phenomenal action, great fight choreography, and sheer bad*ss-ness.

Due to a combination of the characters, the historical backdrop, the writing and ESPECIALLY the fight choreography, it's legitimately become my favorite show of the past 5 years. Possibly from the past 10 years.

Great show. Have been enjoying season 3. There are a lot of shows that I watch that don't get a lot of buzz or discussion here which is a shame. This is probably the most deserving of them.

The way they transition between languages and accents based on the perspective of the characters is one of the best done parts of this show. I also enjoy the slang they invented for the show.

Some of the actors are a little wooden, but some of the actors are pretty darn good. (I'm going to use spoiler tags for my discussion of the actors because some of it indicates that characters may still be alive, so read at your own risk) Hoon Lee (Chao) is phenomenal in everything he does, this is the 3rd or 4th show I've enjoyed where he's cropped up. I think Olivia Cheng has been excellent as Ah Toy.

I agree that it's gotten better as things have gone along. Tobin has grown into his role a bit (Young Jun), and Jagger continues to kill it as Leary (literally and metaphorically).

I just wish we had more Bolo, (Season 1 spoilers only). The one-off episodes are the best part of the first two seasons.

Watched the first 2 episodes last night and liking it. Kind of reminds me of Kung Fu Hustle a little bit. All of the naked chicks don't hurt either.

Just finished. Love this show, sad the season is over. The podcast is worth listening to as well.

The season finale was incredible and I hope we get another.

While I'm flattered that my username reminds you of Gojira, the name is from a prominent character from my favorite video game series.

I finally watched season 1 and 2 recaps since it's been so long and binged season 3. This show is still wildly entertaining. Acting may not impress artistic types but the story is fun and gratifying.

The fight choreography I think is actually better than the newer john Wick movies. Great show.

I actually liked the acting quite a bit.

On my list.

Started this last night. Holy crap there was a lot packed into the first episode. Really enjoyed it, definitely going to keep watching.

Finished up season 2 last night and this show is just plain fun.

Finished up season 3 this weekend and I've had fun will all 3 seasons of the show, will definitely keep watching when it comes back. It's definitely not perfect but it's perfect for turning your brain off and just watching something for entertainment value alone. I think they strike a good balance between the action, storyline, and politics on the show. This feels like a hidden gem that I hope more people get a chance to see before it's gone.

Got sucked in and watched two seasons now - epic S2 finale.
Love the characters, hate Buckley but that's the point, ready to watch S3 but don't want this series to end.

During S1ep1 mentioned to my wife that it reminded me of Kung Fu (David Carradine) which she confirmed both shows tied into Bruce Lee story treatment.

Honestly, I can't see the Hop Wei without seeing the Axe Gang from Kung Fu Hustle, and I'm waiting for a big dance number at any second.

Really sucks that there isn't a season 4. Just finished season 3. One of the best shows I've seen in awhile.
