Holy S…. Just got through the first 2 episodes of the most recent Taylor Sheridan show on Paramount. It has an All star cast and is about the most intense and captivating show I have seen in a long time. I know the guy gets some hate on this board for all the shows he pumps out but this could be my favorite Sheridan concoction yet- at least after 2 episodes. Be prepared for some next level, hard to watch scenes. But the kind of scenes that when the credits roll, you can't wait for next weeks episode. And the previews show Morgan Freemen yet to come? Count me in. But as usual I will probably be the only person on TexAgs who enjoys it!

It's a'ight. As OP stated, intense and entertaining, but with Sheridan involved, it definitely has some eye-rolling moments (bar fight). And the actress playing Cruz isn't great.

Fun fact: James Jordan (Tucker) has now appeared in at least five Sheridan projects.

It's a little over board but I like it so far as former Leatherneck. Him making her Recon Marine in the series is believable now that the Marines have their first female to complete the Basic Reconnaissance Course. Lance Cpl. Alexa Barth is first female Recon Marine.

Just started this last night. The brrrrrrp opening was sweet- rewinded just to make sure mrs rononeill understood and appreciated how glorious that was (I mean, the A10 is the most badass piece of machinery of all time). Not concerned at all about Cruz's acting chops. All in on this.

Separately, when we say "rewind" that goes back to tapes. Are the kids using a different word for that now? They have no idea what a tape is. Kind of like "dropped the dime"...

Anyone know how many episodes this season of the show will be? I see there are 3 episodes as of today. I have become uppity in my streaming where I don't like to watch week to week.

Haha I mean- I also thought Tulsa King and Mayor of Kingstown were legit as well. I would probably put 1883 last on my list of his shows. But I think that was almost solely because I wasn't a fan of the female lead/narrator. I watch Young Sheldon and she used to have an occurring role on there. I just couldn't get past that!

I liked 1883, aside from her narration, her hairy pits, and some of her personality, but check out 1923 if you haven't already.

Have enjoyed through Episode 5. Even has "Mike November" in it from Jack Ryan!

Pretty good episode this week, but who didn't see the end scene coming?

We were surprised it took as long as it did to get to that "reveal."

I'm enjoying it.

Really irrelevant, but I'm really distracted by Nicole Kidman's puffy lips. She's got this weird, puffy, pursed lip thing going on. I can't figure out if she's had some bad work done or whether she's wearing some sort of prosthetic for the purpose of making her character look a certain way.

The embedded Lioness is hideous.

The ending, but saw that coming.
