Anyone watched this on Paramount+? Different take on the movie. Movie was from Dan's perspective and the immediate impact of Alex going psycho.

Show is told from Alex's perspective, along with her upbringing leading to her borderline personality disorder. Also the aftermath years down the line on his daughter.

I find it very interesting because of my own experiences dealing with someone with BPD. Does a good job of showing how horrible and abusive these people can be, while humanizing them to show what made them the way they are.

So it's a good watch?

Eh. I wouldn't say it's a fantastic show. But it definitely puts a different spin on it. And does a good job humanizing Alex and villainizing Dan.

It's a good show. I was curious how they were going to turn the movie into a series but they did a good job. The story is told from multiple POVs. Dan's, His wife's, Alex's and it show the damage caused by this to include the daughter. It's worth a watch IMO.

Agreed, it's good, not great, but worth it. Wife and I just finished S1. Lot's of POV characters, + the detective friend, and + the guy that ends up with Dan's ex

The twist at the end of the last ep with the daughter was interesting.

Bottomline, this show is a great reminder of two things:

If you're married, act like you're actually married and be true to your vows

Never stick your deek in crazy
