Lost was good too. Short, sweet, nothing fancy.

I always liked Chuck's intro. Short Skirt, Long Jacket is just a good song.

Absolutely hated the True Blood intro, especially the visuals.

Tough to beat the Intro music from the original 1984-1985 run of Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer with Stacy Keach.

Earl Hagen's Harlem Nocturne with an intoxicating sax.



After Keach did time in a British prison for cocaine possession they restarted the show as the New Mike Hammer, but they jacked with the intro by using a trumpet and a faster beat. They should have left it alone.

As somebody already said, HBO has great intros.

Peacemaker is the one where I watched every time

There are lots of fan re-makes on YouTube that are surprisingly good. Some try to show the same locations in New Jersey as they look today, others try to find similar scenes around their hometowns. I think it helps that the original was filmed with a handheld camera by a guy sitting in the passenger's seat.

Glad someone else loves House of Cards intro. Something about having the Capitol looming in the background of every part of DC is just cool and ominous.

This reminds me of the Drew Carey show. That was a fun intro.

Game of Thrones. Not only was the music great, but they customized the visuals of each one to show you which towns would be featured in that episode

I always liked the intro to Halt and Catch Fire. The show was good too.



Also like the Bosch intro too.

Simon and Simon (seasons two and later)

Disney afternoon had some bangers

Claude, once again I find myself wholeheartedly agreeing with you.

That Crime Story intro with Del Shannon is great stuff. I noticed that's the version they used before they moved from Chicago to Las Vegas.

I really, really liked both intros, but for completeness, here's the Vegas one:



Crime Story was one of those shows I couldn't miss, particularly the first year. Before Vegas turned Fremont Street into a covered 'plaza', you could drive your car past all those casinos and it was great seeing the shoot out they filmed down there for the show.

One thing's certain -- in the relatively few scenes where Farina and Denison (Torello and Luca) were directly paired off against each other, the heat was white hot between them and just seared the TV set.

Bloodline had a great intro song and visuals. Check it out. I watched it every time.

I saw the Tank! into for Cowboy Bebop was listed, which is maybe the best of all time.

Hitting skip on the Parks and Rec intro calls the police.

How has no one mentioned Somebody Feed Phil?? I find myself jamming the pasta, pork, chicken and lamb at random times.

Band of brothers gets a lot of love and rightly so, but I think I may actually like the intro to the pacific slightly more.

As somebody who lived through the mid 1990s, I think they did a decent job of creating a sound alike song sounds like it's from a band that you just can't quite put your finger on who it is.

All the crazy imagery in the intro is getting a little nuts as they continue to introduce more supernatural stuff. I'm only on S02E03 though so maybe it's worse after more repetition.

I was also in my late teens and 20's all through the 90's and heavily into all the music of the time and I still don't get what they are going for there. The keyboard sounds like the Monster Mash. I have to skip through that intro every time.

Great catch, and I think I like the Vegas intro a little better.

Periodically I'll belt out lyrics from various sitcoms that have just stuck in my mind like the TripleDent gum commercial from Inside Out.

With these I'm like, where did that come from, most the time I don't even know more than the first line?

Best - easy for me - Peacemaker. I can watch on repeat.



Worst - Netflix food show - somebody feed Phil. Love the show and him, cringe intro.the video changes but it the music is god awful.
