Most HoF bands have an extensive list of hits that most people can recite by heart. Lost among those hits, however, are some really good songs that for whatever reason, never became hits. One that immediately comes to mind for me is "Hey, Hey What Can I Do" (Led Zeppelin). IMHO, one of the best blues-influenced rock songs ever put to wax. Amazing musicianship with elite vocals by Robert Plant.

Almost every artist I follow has album cuts that I like more than the singles.

Some of that may be due to the fact that it's easy to get tired of hits because you hear them so often.

I agree. Usually the signature song for any artist I eventually grow to despise. The song becomes way overplayed.
