“The White Lotus” Season 4 has been greenlit by HBO, with production being eyed for 2026, sources tell Variety.

The early renewal comes a few weeks before the Feb. 16 premiere of Season 3, which is set in Thailand.

between this and Severance...we waited a combined decade for these damn seasons. Cant wait.

Did a rewatch of both seasons with our Aggie daughter who had never seen them. She's ready for season 3!

He can never top the hilarity of the death last season.

I can't wait for this! The great thing is you probably don't have to have seen season 1 or 2 to still enjoy this, or watch it in any specific order of seasons other than keeping up with Jennifer Cooley's character in the first 2.

I just want the Season 3 opening credits song will slap has hard as Season 2. If that happens, everything else is gravy!

Weird to premiere this against SNL50.

On whats everyone think of episode 1? I love Parker Posey in anything…. But her accent is so bad

A ton to unpack.
Parker Posy's character was way over the top (as was the Carrie Coon wail, we knew she was upset with it, but I think that will be relevant later.
John Gries being back is awesome.
The opening scene with the monkeys, you knew they were looking over death. But that scene was darker than any the show has had I think.
Another great job of blending in with local culture. The show is so good at that.

I have a few theories, but will save them for a few episodes. Only thing I would bet on is that the two people they showed with guns in the previews probably weren't the ones at the beginning.

Really enjoyed the episode. The tension is in every scene. I don't recall the other two seasons having such dark & ominous tones right away. Going to be fun.

Enjoyed it. The characters on this show are always pretty far out there, but this one may be headed for the extreme.

Sidenote, as a 50 year old guy when it comes to Parker Posey, the % balance of "would like to bang" vs "she kind of scares the hell out of me" has definitely evolved over the decades. Started strongly the former with a bit of the latter 30 years ago. Now firmly 100% the latter.

Jason Isaac's just disappears into roles. His accent is so good and makes Posey's even worse in comparison.

I didnt recognize Michelle M at first. The blonde hair through me off. Leslie Bibb looks the best she has ever looked IMO. And Parker is Parker, I think the accent is part of her southern wine and xanax country club mom schtick it is just over the top which may be the point.

I work with a lot of guys from the Carolinas and they have that weird flat vowel pronunciation.

I didn't recognize Carrie Coon for much of the episode since I'm so used to her affect and costumes from The Gilded Age.

Good start. I do find ALL characters cringy. But in a good way that fits the show. We are missing the Sweeney/Daddario eye candy and wish Armond would make another appearance. Season 1 characters were awesome.

I may have missed it, but are we assuming the 3 children are adopted? just a really weird dynamic between those kids
