Very generic and meh.

Perhaps it's not fair to hold bands to a certain standard, but maybe it is. I remember the first time I heard Best of You and The Pretender on the radio. Those were just at another level.
IMO the Pretender is the same quality as Rope which is the same quality as Run. I'll have to give this one a listen soon. I'm not very familiar with their most recent album but generally I feel like the Foos don't miss.

All of their songs are starting to sound the same to me. At this point they all just kind of blend together.

Josh Freese is freaking awesome.
Just finished listening to the entire album for the first time and I'm blown away. This is the best album they've released in a long time.
I dig it. Going to have to give it a few more listens and read the lyrics.
