New album "But Here We Are" out June 2
Their singles usually grow on me. They're definitely missing Taylor on this song, though.DallasTeleAg said:
Very generic and meh.
I haven't really been impressed with any of their singles for at least a decade.
Not sure what you expected but it sounds like the Foo Fighters. It's certainly not blowing me away but it's a solid song IMO.DallasTeleAg said:

That doesn't sound like Dave playing, tbh. If I had to guess it sounds like Roger Taylor's kid.Know Your Enemy said:Not sure what you expected but it sounds like the Foo Fighters. It's certainly not blowing me away but it's a solid song IMO.DallasTeleAg said:

And I loved Taylor but without him that means Grohl is playing drums which isn't at all a step down from Hawkins.
This is my feeling, as well, and is why I found it "meh".Some Junkie Cosmonaut said:
All of their songs are starting to sound the same to me. At this point they all just kind of blend together.
Hate to admit it but same for me. At this point, I like the idea of Foo Fighters more than the actual thing. Makes me wonder how much input the other band members have in songwriting.DallasTeleAg said:This is my feeling, as well, and is why I found it "meh".Some Junkie Cosmonaut said:

Speculation is that it's Josh Freese.AggieRob93 said:
Presume one of the surprises during the streaming event is the official reveal of their new drummer. I'll be giving it a watch on Sunday!
It's him. I posted on another thread a couple months ago. I have a friend who knows Grohl. But only as a touring drummer, not an official member.Txmoe said:Speculation is that it's Josh Freese.AggieRob93 said:

I'd assume that Grohl probably played drums on most of the Foos album tracks.

Made it about a minute and a half in...that song is not very good. at all.
They played a new song called Nothing At All during their livestream yesterday that was really good. Also I dug the "live" versions of the other 2 new songs that we've already heard better than the studio versions.Aust Ag said:AustinCountyAg said:

No Rock band is immune to hitting the songwriting wall at some point, even the Foos.
