Probably some of the worst news I've heard in a while. His is going to dramatically impact my lifestyle as it pertains to which movies I do and don't get to see. I guess I'm down to Redbox.

They have this thing called streaming now where you can click on a menu screen for the movies you want to watch with your remote control. It's really convenient.

As much as I'd love to see Boba show up… how the heck would he even know, and show up at the perfect time at that…I think ghost squadron is more realistic. Definitely don't wanna see Luke show up, I think Asoka would be more realistic as well with her ties to Trawn.

Oh I still have the streaming services, but none of them have the library that the DVD collection does. I watch so many things i wouldn't get to watch if i only relied on streaming. I would say for everything I watch on streaming, I watch 2-3 things on dvd.

Especially as you could add things way in advance of when they were available. I'd add movies even before they were in the theaters thinking "that looks cool but I know I won't get around to seeing it in theaters.".

And then 6 months later it would show up in my mailbox.

Sure, and if you buy 10 different streaming services you'll get to watch the exact titles that you want.... maybe. There might be licensing issues on an older property so that can't show half the season or more. Scratched disks aside, I've always like this option for new releases and older series.

HA!!! Blockbuster and me were right 25 years ago!
A DVD mail in service will never last! People want to go to a store and pick out the movie they want to watch that night. And buy marked up candy! And pay $3.75 per night for unreturned movies!!!!

The issue is licensing. Streaming libraries do not have the depth of older movies in DVD libraries.
