I hope they don't try to cram it all into 1 season. I want to enjoy this dystopian hell for a few years!

Wool was great. That was the first 3 books, right? I never read beyond that.

Five books was just the release cycle. I think I remember "book 1" being like 35 pages or something.

Hell yeah! One of my favorite dystopia book series.

First two episodes dropped. It took a little bit to get into the first episode but I really enjoyed them. I haven't read the books, so I have no idea where it is heading.

Great series of books. First time I really thought about the dangers of nanobots.

Really good first episode. They did a great job capturing the mood and atmosphere.

I read the Wool Omnibus, like Youbet, a long time ago. Great story. Really enjoyed the first two episodes. I think I'm going to read it again as I watch. I seriously don't remember much about the story.

I am surprised Rashida is holding well on looks over Ferguson over last 8 years. Maybe Ferguson's chain smoking is catching up with her or she is playing the look of this character.

Kinda. But the show is 100x Logan's run. Would be 1000x but lacks the scantily clad women's

First two episodes were solid. Haven't read any of the books. Thought them basically having no intercom/radio/telephone communications was a nice way to increase tension.

Yeah, this is legit. (Coming from another non-book reader.) Fantastical pilot and maybe even a better second episode.

I really love the structure and how the storytelling is constantly folding back on itself, connecting dots, teasing, then answering, then teasing again, etc. Also a bold move to keep Ferguson - the lone actor on the poster and the centerpiece of the marketing so far - out of the pilot until the end. I don't think I've seen that before, but swings like that are something I wish more shows/pilots would take. It really made it feel like big deal once she was finally introduced.

The rest of the cast is great too, as is the incredible production design. Very Zion/Matrix-esque, but a bit more familiar, in a cool way. On one hand, I keep thinking wow, what a great, cost-effective idea to set a show on one mega set that's all interiors. But then each individual set looks like a million bucks - some of them massive - and I realize it still had to have cost a ton.

Regardless, I'm definitely going to be looking forward to this each week, and am glad to see Apple with (hopefully) another hit on their hands.

I read the first part of Wool and it annoyed me the way this show did. Like the first characters you meet die.

Anyhooo, I enjoyed it despite that and will push on.

I've really enjoyed the first couple of episodes as well. I haven't read the books so I'm going in blind. This show is right up my alley with elements of a murder mystery, science fiction, and...Rebecca Ferguson.

Tense episode.

Started watching the show because this thread and I'm hooked.

The dialogue and acting aren't world class but the story has me hooked.

Haven't read the books so I'm interested to learn more about the role Judicial actually plays in the Silo as they are keeping it vague 3 episodes in.

OMG. Coop was the worst first pick for a work crew ever.

Actually I have a lot of questions about the division of labor for this super-critical engineering feat.

Still an awesome show though.

And she was the only one who could hold a hose on the steam vent.
