I recently did a deeper dive on covers of Zeppelin songs, most are great so good covers would actually be pretty good. The Wilson sisters have a bunch that are very nice, Jeff Healy does a great Communication Breakdown, have always loved Chris Cornell's voice but was never into his music so I really enjoyed his cover of Going to California and Thank You. Here are a couple I wanted to highlight, one is definitely the quirkiest and that is Frank Zappa's version of Stairway to Heaven. He is actually very true to the original (except an innovative use of horns for the guitar solo) but what's with all the animal noises? Just Frank being Frank I guess:
But the one that blew me away was Misty Mountain Hop by 4 Non-Blondes. I had never heard of them before but the singer has some pipes on her. They are true to the original but still make it their own song, awesome cover:
