I think any band/artist using their lighting and other live show effects as an excuse should go check out a Muse show.
Whether you like their music or not, their live show is insane and they play it all live...and often the live version is better than the studio.
Muse has a secret backing track method; His name is Morgan Nicholls.

This guy;

You might not even see him up on stage, he's off in the back shadow to the drummer's left. He's never received any writing credits or album credits.

But he is huge in giving Muse the live sound that you know.

I saw Muse before he came around, and several times after, and there was def. a difference. Before, it was either piano/keys/synth or guitar, never both, as there is only one Matt. But since 2006, they've always had both, and as you see above, possibly two guitars with piano, or two pianos and guitar.

When I say piano, I mean actual piano, or synth, sounds, etc.
