What's your favorite and least favorite level from Super Mario 64 and why? I've beaten the game at least seven or eight times (I've only one hundred percented it once) and I don't have a favorite level, but my least favorite is Wing Mario Over the Rainbow, because it's hard to get all eight red coins and every time you fall off the stage, you have to climb back up to the third floor of the castle if you want to retry it. If one level from the game had to be removed, I would choose that one.

I've actually beaten the game at least seven or eight times and Wing Mario Over the Rainbow is my least favorite level, so I'm not just saying that. The reason I listed the names of the levels is so people wouldn't have to look them up and would have a convenient list right here in the thread.

Favorites: any of the Banjo Kazooie levels, which for me are all better than every Mario 64 level

Least favorite: probably tick tock clock. Getting 100 coins there is not fun

They're like discount WALL-Es (I know Super Mario 64 came out before WALL-E).

According to Super Mario Wiki, there were originally supposed to be 32 main levels instead of 15, but they weren't added because of hardware limitations, so if the game had 32 levels, there probably would have been more than three water levels.

I've never made it past the penguin level. I have a hard time with the controls.

Did you know that you can drop the baby penguin off the cliff?

The one where you have to protect Natalya while she hacks the satellite.

It's not completely random, since it's a very well known game.

100% agree unless you're going to include water based games like Bioshock. Also, the water levels in DKC 2 are easily the most difficult water levels I've ever played, much more difficult than the water temple in Zelda.
