What a train wreck! This started airing about 5 weeks ago on Disney + and is a 6 episode series. I have one episode left to watch.



I'm assuming most posters on this board are of the age that have mostly fond memories of the orginial…kinda different feelings on the sequel…and absolutely abhorrent feelings on the third installment…

But wow! I mean wow! This. Is. Bad.



But it's so bad you almost need to watch it if you're a fan of the original. Seriously…just look at the show introduction…it's incredibly terrible and disturbing



Has anyone else watched this with their kids? The 5th episode was the first one where it was at least a little interesting but the acting on this show is some of the worst I've seen…

i have 3 young boys....they don't know any better

my wife and i will message each other on our phones while an episode is airing about how terrible this is so the kids won't hear us bashing a show they're liking...

5th episode was actually decent...compared to the rest of it...

I feel like the premise was decent, but the acting IS terrible. Especially all of the child actors. It was painful to get through.

I love the Original and even the one where he has to find Mrs. Clause. I was excited to see this but watching the first episode, I was really disappointed. It was hard to watch. I have not been too fond of the way Disney+ takes a popular movie idea and throws something together to get a "series" out. This feels rushed and full of poor writing and story ideas. The jokes are all forced and the lines are cringy. I felt this way about the Guardian's holiday movie too.

I've been watching, mainly because The Santa Clause is one of my favorite Christmas movies from when I was a kid.

It's been.... ok. I can't say that I've loved it and it was very obvious from EP 1 what the entire story would be, but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I can say that I'll never have a desire to watch it again after it ends.

Wow…. My girlfriend and I have actually been enjoying it. Its the perfect show we don't have to pay much attention to, drink some wine during, and just get some laughs. I think Tim Allen is hilarious as usual. Agree the kids suck, but they did in the original too. We recently rewatched it before this show and wow, the kid that plays his son in that movie is HORRIBLE.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

Watched the final episode tonight with the family and yup….this was a paycheck nothing more….

If we didn't have kids we would've probably stopped watching after the first or second episode because dang the acting is some of the worst I've seen….practically everyone sucks but this guy….wow….



There's no way this guy should be putting this on his resume…holy hell dude….

Why ***** about it and say, "I have one episode left to watch." How about not watch the previous 5? This is like saying, "This soup tastes like crap, and the third bowl tastes worse than the first!"

The pains of being a father….could be worse though….in the 90s when I was young and stupid I liked Paulie Shore movies
