Some guys were in a group but weren't sure if they could trust each other and then happened upon this other group they had to fight and then zombies attacked and it was crazy.

I've got you all beat. I stopped watching halfway through the episode BEFORE Negan's first appearance. It just lost me, I guess.

The last thing I remember from this show is someone getting a clear shot on negan and his bat stopping the bullet.

I stuck it out the whole way. Sometime would go a couple seasons without watching but then would catch up playing it on my second monitor while I worked. It was indeed a ridiculous ride.

That said, I thought the finale was extremely well done, especially the back half. If only all the episodes were handled that well then maybe it wouldn't have gone down the toilet so much.

Are they still planning the movies with Andrew Lincoln?

Looks like a 3rd spinoff called Rick and Michonne is coming. I guess it's a series instead of a movie.

So with all these spin offs I guess the show didn't really end. The studios found a way to end/purge and move on.

Exactly. What really sucked about the Walking Dead is that there might be one interesting storyline going on among many storylines. But, say you had a good Negan storyline going on....they'd focus one week on that and not get back to it until 3 episodes later. They brought on too many characters and watered it down trying to give everyone equal screen time. Hopefully these focused character spinoffs will eliminate that problem.

I started the show very late but watched through Here's Negan. Will need to plow through and finish it up.

these idiots are still using spears and **** when there were 300 million guns in american and only a few thousand people left to use them?

and no answers on what happened, or how it started, or whether there is some advanced humanity left?

I firmly remember thinking that the whole series would end and Rick would wake up from a coma in the hospital and it was all just a coma dream. His fam would be around him and the major characters would be people who either worked at the hospital or came and visited him while he was out. When Rick left the show my hope for that ending was out the window.

I stopped watching sometime during season 7. Can I get cliff notes?

Just finished watching the finale from my DVR. I guess I'm in the minority in that I though the final episode was really well done. Like any show that lasted this long, some years were better than others, but overall a really good show.

The last dozen or so episodes were pretty weak, but I enjoyed the finale. I'll probably check out the spin-offs.

I'm most intrigued about Maggie being in NYC but have no idea how they explain how they end up there, lol

I quit watching when they "killed" Glenn under the dumpster, then actually he wasn't dead and they BS'd someway for him to have survived that. Think that was season 4 or 5. To think they have kept it going since is crazy.

I'm thinking about just watching the final episode and being done with it. I watched the first couple episodes of this season and just couldn't stay interested.

I like it too and will absolutely watch the spin-offs.

Finale should have had more deaths from the core group.

That's a shame. The Negan arc was the best of the series. He and Carol are tied neck and neck for best characters in the entire TWD universe imo

Haven't watched the show since like S4, but everyone wanted Carol offed in S1. Guess she had a good arc.
