Brian, Lawrence of Arabia is great, one of the few epics I didn't get squirmy in. An interesting dude to read about as well.

I've seen most if not all of these so far. I've never watched a Charlie Chaplin movie, just clips. I need to make an attempt. Oh and the last two Hobbit movies. I think I'm good on those.

Dating back the last 17 years (to 2005), I've only seen 1 of the Award Winners (Birdman).
But from 94-2004, I had seen everyone but The English Patient.


Either the movies that won became less interesting, or, more likely, the birth of a child in 2004 influenced my movie viewing. And given all the fluff I had seen in that top 60 list, it is probably the 2nd.

The Birds - meh. It was good (great even) for it's time but you've probably seen everything great about it somewhere else.
Casablanca - worth watching for Renault alone.
Casino - how is this possible?
Cool Hand Luke - best version of the christ story put to film
Dances with Wolves - meh you've seen avatar
Erin Brockovich - meh most overrated actress in Hollywood
