well what do you call a perfect movie?
I Mean how do you define it other than by really liking it, and maybe recognizing that it is ground breaking on some way.
Awards? Cause I've seen some really ****ty award movies.
Most of the movies people are
Listing here do both.
Even cannonball run. If you don't like freedom, cars, big star casts, boobs, and ridiculous irreverent comedies, it's not for you. But I do and it certainly set a standard for all that. So in that space, it was damn near perfect.
Perfect movie =
Original, never seen anything like it
Never have to look at your watch, don't want it to end
Acting - you forget you're watching actors, they become the role
Script - totally memorable, quotable lines
Soundtrack - whether composed or choosing the right songs
Many great choices listed
Shawshank - the music, the story, you are never watching Tim Robbins or Morgan Freeman- you are watching Andy and Red
Jurassic Park - John Williams at his best, Ian Malcolm's quotes
Dances with Wolves - epic
Goodfellas - perfect song choices (Layla at the end- wow!)
