Just finished it. Kind of disappointing, especially considering this could be his last book. I am sad.

I liked the first of the series, but overall these books lack the drama of most of his other stuff. I'm not sure why.

I think he just put them out fast to meet contract obligations, and they reflect that - sort of a dime store feel to it, pretty much crap, mostly - he really hasnt been into writing since he had his heart attack. I say it might be his last because he isnt going to live much longer.

I only had the chance to read Sin Killer.

Good book, but not one of his greatest. Nothing can touch The Last Picture Show and Lonesome Dove.
