My 2nd grade teacher's brother or brother in law played one of the turtles.

I also LOVED TMNT, had all the action figures, loved the cartoons, and movies. The 3rd movie holds a special place in my heart as I think it's still good.

The first movie is much darker than the others.

This is a collection of the original run, colored for the reissue.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection, Vol. 1 (TMNT Ultimate Collection) https://a.co/d/4JP6vhk

The RPG is LONG out of print, but usually available on eBay.

Favorite TMNT toy you had.

I personally liked these two a lot:

BRO

Those were so fun. I had those and played with them all the time.

I showed my 5yr old the first two TMNT movies a few months ago and she liked them. I still think my favorite is the second one.

We're playing the new Shredder's Revenge game together and she likes it. She's started watching some of the cartoons, too. We found the original cartoon to watch and she also likes the one on Netflix.

Thanks! It's on my short New Years resolution list for 2022. I love TMNT, I read comics - I just gotta read the originals sometime.

I can't be the only person who after a while would pick up that pizza shooter like a nerf gun and rain hell on anything that moved in the house

Also the TMNT and Other Strangeness RPG is one of the best ever. Erick Wujcik who designed it was a true genius.
Man, that brings back memories. My friends and I made a ton of characters for the system (though we preferred the After the Bomb stuff), but probably only got around to playing a half dozen times.

The 2nd edition of After the Bomb is really great. It's the system Erick designed for a 2nd edition of TMNT before Palladium Books lost the license. Way more nuanced with tons more options. I actually attempted to buy the setting from Palladium a few years back but they wouldn't sell.

I wrote a new game instead, called MUTAGEN. Never took it out of playtest. Just too busy with other things and too little potential to make money.

Ah, Palladium. My brother wrote a book for them years ago.

Probably not news to most, but Sam Rockwell and Skeet Ulrich were in this movie as unnamed thugs.
