My first top 10 consisted of 20. It pained me to remove 12 and 11…

You didn't make it easy by listing all of the medley songs separately.

She Loves You seems like the only surprise on that list. I really enjoy it but am surprised it would be above some "direct competitors" like I Feel Fine and I Saw Her Standing There.

Respectable top 10 right there.

One of the great things about the Beatles is that there's a so much documentation on how the songs come together. As an example: With a Little Help from my Friends:

A two and a half minute song broken into a 20 minute dissection of its components is infinitely interesting to me. For example, the guitar flub at 7:22, Ringo's brave vocal isolated at 13:40, the background vocals singing "high with a little help" twice instead of the correct lyrics in the last verse at 16:18, the beautiful 3-part harmony, the piano, everything comes together so perfectly… all for a silly 2 and a half minute song

I would've had the medley as top 10 if it was a choice, alas they were separate.

In doing this, I've realized that Revolver may be my favorite overall Beatles album. Many of my 11-20 songs were from it.

I think Rubber Soul is my favorite.

Abbey Road is the greatest album of all time IMO.
