Just watched the season finale. Good ending, ready for season 2!

The plot thickens!

Man did I enjoy that.

So it looks like season 2 is already filmed and will be released later this year??

Also pretty cool of them to basically be like, "Oh, and by the way, we already shot season two, take a look..." I've never seen any show do that before.

That said, I have absolutely no idea what the last ten minutes or so was about. Are we supposed to understand *why* Lamb killed Standish's husband? I know that was Cartwright's grandfather in the car at the end, but the implications of it all, and what any of it meant, completely escaped me.

No, I don't think we were supposed to understand it all. He probably was a Russian or somesuch.

I vaguely remember something about that, but admittedly don't remember the details. That makes sense, though.

Absolutely loved this show. Apple TV bringing it again! Kept it simple but whoever said let the characters breathe or truly develop the characters. They sure did. Oldman was awesome!
I also love how they reminded us that Harper's car radio is always stuck on Coldplay. They could have over rotated or lingered too much on the car and Coldplay. But they don't. It's always there and they never draw too much attention. I thought that was a nice touch.

Finally got to the finale tonight. Loved the whole damn thing, Oldman, all the characters, not to mention Jagger's theme. Can not wait for S2

Ha, it's still the same calendar year as season one, which is incredibly impressive and something basically no other show has pulled off.

yeah, but principal photography had completed well before S1 released, and let's be honest, it is edited like typical british drama and has minimal FX. it could very easily have been ready by this point.

That's just unrealistic. You're assuming that as soon as something is in the can it goes to air asap. Apple needs to schedule their releases to grow and maximize viewers/subscribers just the same as any movie studio, streaming service, or broadcast channel.

But if you have a hit show, and are only going to get 6 episodes a season like many British shows why speed things up? SH has been renewed through season 4. If your Apple do you want to burn through that in under 2 years or make it part of your lineup for the next 3-4 years?

Finally got around to watching this show, can't believe I waited this long, so good. I'm a sucker for espionage stories and British crime dramas, so this was tailor made for me. I really enjoyed it, this might be my favorite Oldman performance in all honesty, he was just perfect. I love how pretty much any British show can squeeze in dry humor, regardless of the subject matter. In America I don't know that they could squeeze in laughs and sarcasm into a show built around similar subject matter. Most American crime shows I try to figure out where the turn is going to come from well before the reveal, a show like this is so enjoyable to me I didn't even try to figure it out, I was enjoying the ride too much.

Highly recommend this show to anyone, well worth your time.

Watched the first episode of S2 and spoiler alert, Gary Oldman is still outstanding. So many laugh out loud moments. The restaurant scene with River was hilarious

We just found this show. S1 was awesome and have started S2.

Oldman is incredible in this and proves why he's in my top 3 favorite actors.

Also, the Mick Jagger theme song reminds me of the True Blood theme song.

Starting binging this on my flight home from Scotland last week. Blew through all the seasons and can't wait for season 4. Oldman is greatness
