Korean zombie show on Netflix...centers around a high school during the outbreak. You see it spread around the city.

It's fun. Definitely more action than TWD. The zombies are not shambling but fast. Think of the physiology of Dawn of the Dead (remake), but the snappy and bitey, bone cracking of World War Z zombies.

Its dubbed. But I watch it with subtitles and it helps with identifying who they are referencing. Some names are very similar to an untrained ear.

Halfway through. Good stuff. Smart kids start figuring out the mechanisms of infection.

2 episodes in and this show is crazy.

Lots of characters killed off in the first 5 or so episodes, so I dig it. The zombies are exciting and more dangerous a la 28 Days Later. A little hard to follow the characters, but CC certainly helps.

One question though: Do high school kids in South Korea act like elementary aged children when it comes to relationships and hooking up? It's just ridiculous to think 16, 17, and 18 year old kids would be trying to ask out someone by handing them their name tag. Maybe kids are more chaste in Korean culture and this is the norm? Certainly no concern for high-school aged pregnancy I guess.

Also, never watch English dubbed foreign shows. It's always awful. Just watch in original Korean audio with CC if you are already reading the captions anyway.

It becomes pretty clear that their culture uses honor/shame as a social paradigm. This will become more obvious as you get further in, with threats of suicide, revelations about parents, etc. So when it comes to sexual interest, they try not to dishonor themselves or the person they are interested in.

Fk you thought women in america couldnt send signals, watching this makes me wonder how Koreans ever find wives.

Tbh the relationship stuff is the weakest bit of the show, except one which actually serves the zombie world building of the storytelling. handcuffed. In that instance, the timid "do you like me" trope worked pretty damn well and it kinda makes up for the love triangle sht you endure.

A Breakfast Club type show that deals with relationships; parental pressures and socio-economical biases during a zombie apocalypse in which plot armor basically doesn't exist.

Loved the hell out of it. Last few episodes get really hard to watch after getting attached to the kids.

Just finished watching this series, and it was pretty good. Found myself yelling at these kids for being idiots sometimes during the show. I'm interested to see how season 2 will turn out.

Thought it was good enough to want a Season 2 and if there isn't one it's no big deal.

Pretty good zombie show. Just lots of zombie action which is basically what you want. I always like seeing the initial spread and downfall of society part. Impressed how they got all these teenagers to portray crazed zombies so convincingly.

Dialogue and non-zombie acting is amateur-ish/cheesy at times, but lot of it may just be the translation. Also, had a hard time following all the characters and who is who for a while. 16 year old Korean girls all look the same to me - doesn't help that most of them wear their hair in a ponytail and they're all wearing school uniforms.

Fun Fact: they use the same actors in most of the Korean drama/ movies (Kingdom, Train to Busan)...

If you have not watched Kingdom, do yourself the favor and do so
