Anyone watching this? Just finished first two episodes, and it is ****ed up. Getting pretty good reviews so far.

Haven't watched tonights yet but have seen the other episodes.
I was looking for a thread to see other's reaction. Agree...it's pretty ****ed up, interested to see where it goes.

Just got caught up, very intense and highly recommended! One of the more binge-worthy season 1's I've seen in a long time!

As much as I wanted to see them go all Lord of the Flies, I understand they have to save some stuff for future seasons. We at least got a peak into how messed up they are in the present to know that some **** definitely went down in the woods.

I also liked the way they handled Jackie. They didn't do the expected thing and have someone kill her, yet the group did somewhat contribute to her death by having her stay outside.

My wife and I were wondering if there were others still alive that just weren't part of the main story yet, so that last scene was pretty cool. Now we just want to know if Tai and/or Misty are in on whatever cult **** is happening or if they're just messed up in their own right.

The most unbelievable part is how fine Jeff is with the cheating and murder!

Awesome finale. This show is perfect for Texags entertainment board discussion. More people need to watch. Awesome acting, writing, and music. One of my favorite shows this year.

Started the first episode last night based on this thread.....very intriguing. I plan to watch 1-2 episodes per night and hopefully finish the first season over the weekend

Just a random guess, but I think it's Mari.

I'm wondering if the girls devolve into groups that are hunting one another (or at least 1 group is hunting those that run off) or if they're all still together but just picking new people to sacrifice/eat as needed. Either way, it seems like the Cult of Lottie will be the ones initiating the killing.

On one hand, I can see all of the girls being part of it (at least until their number came up), but I could also see some, like Nat, not being part of the group. Shauna and Nat at least don't appear to be part of the cult back in the real world, but maybe they just gave it up after being rescued. Misty is a question mark in terms of whether she still follows or not. She and Vann were the only two with Lottie in that last scene, and I can see someone like Misty staying in a cult so she can have friends. I don't know why she wouldn't still be there though.

This show is the tits. Halfway through episode 9 and I think I missed something. Can someone clarify?

When Shauna goes into the closet and sees the glitter, she opens her safe and it's cleared out. Then after she kills Adam, she comes back and there's stuff in the safe?? What did I miss?

My wife and I just finished season 1. What a crazy awesome show to binge. Can't wait for season 2.

was reading an article of an interview with one of the actors, that said the creators have 5 seasons mapped out. which is really exciting. i mean, i have no idea what direction they go with all of this, but i cant wait to see. this show feels like the next, more adult, Stranger Things. in a great way.

5?!?! Holy crap! Did they ever say how long the girls had been in the wilderness before they were rescued/escaped/found civilization?

I think they said it was 19 months.

For a second I thought maybe she had hallucinated that they were gone. I'm not sure why he would've removed them and then put them back. If they're missing, she thinks that's how someone knows her secrets, but that person wouldn't sneak back in to return them. Was it just him being an idiot?

Just finished this series and loved it.

Something early on gave me the impression it would be two separate "tribes" that end up warring, one of which is willing to cannibalize, but I don't think that's confirmed.

One thing I read somewhere is that the cast doesn't even know who is in the furs and masks in the opening scene. They used other actors so that the cast couldn't accidentally spoil. Amazing that they have 5 seasons mapped out, I hope we get it all.

It's a great, intense show and I'm stoked for season 2.

I am very confused myself about that particular sequence. Was it a hallucination that they were missing?

Overall phenomenal show. I am a bit surprised they are saying five seasons because it felt like they were already about halfway through being stranded based on injuries healing. But that is fine with me if they can keep up the quality of the story they've had so far. I really like that they mess with your expectations.

I think Jeff is ok with the cheating murder because he knows what's in the journals. I also think he's a simple guy and wants to protect what he has and try to 'save' her. Like offering to take the fall for it.

I agree on the way they killed Jackie. That was smart writing.

I'm very curious about the spooky shrine under Taissa's house. All her talk about sleep walking and hurting people and her son talking about the scary or mean lady or whatever is creepy as hell.

I wonder how many of the old folks Misty has killed. You know she's killed a lot of people.

So many fascinating things to untangle.

I may have to rewatch again to see what you can pick up on in the early episodes.

Amazing show! I cannot wait for next season. So gripping and I love how they flip from present to past.

Misty has become one of my new favorite TV characters.

Is everyone here in agreement that Misty did something to make the teddy bear combust after the plane took off? That's my assumption but I wonder if I missed where Misty was shown doing something to it.

Season 2 premieres Friday. This is one of my favorite new shows, and I'm really hoping they crank up even more weird **** this season.

Finished S1 last night just in time for S2.

Favorite 1996 character is the bleach blonde hunter girl.

Favorite future character is Shauna. I've never seen her in anything else but, two weeks ago, I watched the 2009 George Clooney movie "Up In The Air" and she plays the young bride who is Clooney's character's niece. It was a trip to reconcile the two characters.

Just watched S2E1 - I think Natalie is my favorite character on both timelines now.

Looks like this show is going to get even weirder this season.
