I'm actually reading the Harry Potter series for the first time and haven't seen any movie since the first. I was already a little older when all of it came out so I didn't partake.

I'm liking it way more than I thought I would. I've burned through the first 4 books and am currently reading the 5th.

I'll always remember logging in to play World of Warcraft and chat was being spammed with SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE and kids going crazy.

Of the three kids, I though Ron was actually a decent cast.

Hermione was fine, but much too pretty for the role and seemed to almost regress in her acting as the series continued.

Harry was awful.

Book 6 is my favorite... and least favorite movie.

Book 5 is a book I feel I liked more on subsequent readings, and is at the top of the series. However, the first read through, it's just so freaking depressing. The ending is fantastic.
