I've been listening to some Lord of the Rings soundtrack, and the Shire music got me thinking about fictional places, both to visit and live. I'm curious everyone's thoughts.

Which fictional place would you want to visit?
Mine is Jurassic Park (pre dinosaur jail break)

Which fictional place would you want to live?
Mine would be Rohan.

Also why would you want to live in Rohan? That's basically like living on the Russian Steppes any time before like 1800 right? Not necessarily saying that's a bad choice, but in the whole world of fictional places that one doesn't strike me as particularly interesting.

Isla Nebular without the dinosaurs and their cages but the rest of the infrastructure would be a badass private island.

My 2nd would be the island from LOST.

Being an elf kind of seems like it would suck to be honest, but I would like to visit there.

Some others to visit:
Diagon Alley
Hogwarts
Tycho Station (the Expanse)
The spider planet from Children of Time (though I'd need some time to acclimate to not being freaked out)
Someone said Naboo but specifically I'd like to visit Gungan City

Everywhere fictional I can think to live is just like... "Earth but less technology and nobody bothers me" like y'all with the shire and Naboo

The Burrow from Harry Potter



The house the Beavers live in on the dam in Narnia which I've wanted to live in since I first read that book in 1966.



The cool castle that Lupita Nyongo's character lived in during Star Wars 7 . I don't remember if that planet had a name or not. The bad guys blew it up when they attacked.

No doubt, I bet Tycho smells better than Ceres though. But that's part of why I just want to visit. If you have to live somewhere in The Expanse it's gotta be one of the ships. I'd say the Roci but they get into too much drama for me. I want a more peaceful life.

I'd love to travel on Starship Avalon from Passengers. Not sure I'd want to spend the rest of my life there, but it would be awesome to experience for awhile.
