Another terriyveritren tag line for it. The tag line basically appeals to only those too young to remember the original. But maybe it will surprise.

I remember LA Law being the cap on a great run of Must See TV Thursdays.

Family Ties
Cheers
Night Court
LA Law

It also had one of the great WTF? sudden deaths ever

I remember that! What an evil woman she was, but I forget exactly why.

Ha I had forgot, that was Dr. Pulaski from the one season of TNG. would have been hilarious if that is how she left that show, fell down a turbolift shaft

I'll have "things no one wanted or asked for" for $100.

Later years yes.

The first couple of seasons were actually really good. Then they inexplicably went to a more soapy style getting away from the court room and getting too much into romance. At the end it was trash.

The actress, Diana Muldaur, is still alive at 83.

Loved that show. Was always a family event watching it. Before that it was Hillstreet Blues. MASH is still altime favorite though.

I wonder if Perseus and Roger Dorn will make appearances?

Probably my first real interest in a TV drama. Earlier seasons with Harry Hamlin and Susan Dey were great.

An all-time great intro.

Would've guessed 90+. She looked at least 60 back then.

And apparently the pilot stunk, because it isn't happening now.

There might be room for reboots of shows like LA Law and even NYPD Blue (both Steven Bochco shows) but I'm guessing modern versions would be better on streaming services rather than networks. NYPD Blue can absolutely still work and thrive if done the right way.
