Being beat over the head with racism and it is so woke no one ever sleeps

But I loved how they dealt with the death of MLK and its impact on the life of a 12 year old

And as always, Dule Hill is awesome

Having Dean's brother's best friend in Vietnam be Winnie's brother who died in Vietnam was a fantastic tie in. Just before Dean's brother pulled out the picture, my wife said, "Oh my God it's gonna be Winnie.

I was Deans age in 1968. I knew families who lost young sons. My Dad and Uncle were in Vietnam at the time too. I got chills and misty eyed at the same time. I loved the original Wonder Years, but this version means more to me.
