Even though the album is well respected, U2's So Cruel is an amazing song that is simply overlooked. Great, haunting lyrics and sound. They never play it live either.

"Every Mother's Son" by Lynyrd Skynryd from the Gimme Back My Bullets album. Hands down my favorite Skynryd song, isn't on any GH's or even on their 3 disc box set.

Great song, great album.

I'd have to say Innocence Faded by Dream Theater.

Big Cat - good choice, but Dream Theater is not and has never been a popular band.

Spoon and Stone are pretty darn good. Wonderful is also an excellent choice, as is just about everything from Alice in Chains.

And in the same vein of my original post, Until the End of the World really, really rocks.

Naveed-Our Lady Peace

Steri--Glad to see you like my favorite band, although I think "Are you sad" got a lot of air time considering it's OLP.

My favorite song by Alice In Chains that I have never heard played on the radio is Nutshell off of the Sap album.

I love that particular album, yet have only heard one of the songs ever played on the radio.

I must also throw in a second nomination for What is and what should never be by LZ.

Psychag: Bullett and Don't Change were played plenty during '87 and '88. How about "My Michelle" or "Mr Brownstone:?

I love "Don't Follow". Jerry Cantrell did it live a few years ago when he opened for Metallica and I got chills. I would also add:

Jimi Hendrix- "Ezy Ryder" & "If 6 Was 9"
Queen- "Somebody To Love"
Pink Floyd- "Fearless"
Peter Gabriel- "Biko"
Rolling Stones- "Dead Flowers" & "I Got The Blues" (almost all of "Sticky Fingers" for that matter) "Rocks Off" & "Torn and Frayed" (from "Exile On Main Street"
Cheap Trick- "I Can't Take It"
Bob Dylan- "Mississippi"
Led Zeppelin- "The Wanton Song" & "In My Time Of Dying"
Van Halen- "5150"
KISS- "2000 Man"
AC/DC- "Ride On" & "There's Gonna Be Some Rockin'"
Lenny Kravitz- "Sister"
Foo Fighters- "Tired Of You"

(I hate threads like this. I always feel like I'm missing the most obvious ones.)

TimAg- you have moved up in my book. Nice list.

Whoever said "Coma" by Guns n Roses also gets my second.

I'll also say "Used To Love Her" off of the GnR Live albums released in 1999. That version shows what Axl, the ultimate rock frontman of all time, was capeable of.

Thank you Philo. Anything in particular from my list grab you or does it all look good? I thrive off of songs like these that most people don't know. I have 2 CD's full of 'em that I love to play for people who think they know good music.

The Beatles- "Because"

Best underrated U2 song is "Running to Stand Still"

Of all the underrated Peter Gabriel songs you choose "Biko"? Ill go with "Salsbury Hill" or "Mercy Street" (underrated in the sense you cant flip on the radio and hear em).
